"Mama, you're going to be soooo proud of me today!"

Salt vs. Steel

Eating lunch at Los Portales today after church....son picks up salt shaker..."I know how to spell salt in Mexican"..."Oh really, how do you spell it?"...S T E E L...Looking at the top of the salt shaker...it said "stainless steel"

Sunglasses

Wearing sunglasses..."Mom, Can you see my eyes?"
"No, why?
"Cause if I rolled my eyes, I just wondered if you'd be able to see me."

Local Auction

Tonight we took kids to a local auction.  Some of the antiques were incredible.

"Mom, Look it's a phone booth!  I never thought I'd see one of these in real life!  I've only seen these in movies!"

"Hey mom!  Did you have to watch this kind of TV when you were a kid?"

"Hey Mom, Do you think these gas pumps are from the Andy Griffith Show?"

"When I turn 16, I think I want a car like this one!"

Hailing at our house

It began to hail at our home tonight.....from dime size to some as large as baseballs....he wanted to run out and try to catch the hail as it was falling but we were afraid it would hit him and hurt him badly...."No worries mom! I'll just wear my helmet!"

Already wishing for Christmas!

"For Christmas this year, I already know what I want....I want one of those little refrigerators's so I can eat and drink in my room whenever I want and you'll never know it!"

Driving through Alabama

While traveling through the state of Alabama.....son was very quiet in the back seat of the car just looking at the view...  "This is so weird...I thought this is what Texas would look like!"
