First Day of 8th Grade - Aug 2017

Son:  All my teachers will be looking up to me this year.

Mom:  Oh really, is that because your going to make good choices, listen, and always to the right thing?

Son:  Haha!  No, it's because I'm taller than all of them this year.


He has grown A LOT over the summer.
He's about 5' 9" and weights 145 lbs.
Praying he has a great year!

If I were boss for the day.....

"Mom, if I were the boss for the day, I'd lean my chair back and put my feet on the desk and work on the computer and BOSS EVERYONE around."

Mustache

Mom (talking to 11 yr old son)...."Look at you!  I think I see a little mustache growing!"

Son - "Oh, you do!  You can see it really good when I drink my milk!"

Fizz Pop

"Mom, my teacher is so funny!"
"Really?"
"Yeah!  Do you know what she calls a fart?"
"What?"
"Well, if somebody farts in class, she's calls it a fizz pop!"

Dinner Converssation

While eating dinner, my child says "My friend brough his playboy to school today but he wouldn't let me see it!"  My mouth dropped...I couldn't believe it....I said, "Did your teacher know he had it?"...Yes, she don't care if he has it!....I'm getting concerned and asked, "Why didn't your friend let you see it?"  "Because he wants to play it by himself."  "Are you sure it was a playboy?"  "Oh Mom...playboy, gameboy...what's the difference!" 

Whew! 

Sleep number bed

After practicing basketball...son walks in and says, "Whew!  I think I need a sleep number bed!  My back is killing me!"

Mom's translation - my son watches way too much TV!  Lol!
